it's ok? i think?
This was good…I think. It was so much better than the pizza that had essentially the same toppings, plus it had some kind of sauce on it that reminded me of Indian food. It was flavorful, not overly-garlicky, and had a lot more vegetables in it than I expected.
But something was off, and I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe the couscous wasn’t fluffy? For under $3 I’m...
it'smyfavorite!
This is so, so, so good. There’s no meat and no cheese (craziness, I know) but somehow it’s so flavorful and filling you don’t miss anything. My only complaint with this is that it takes 6 minutes to cook.
Also, the title of this post comes from this.
But seriously. Go buy this! It’s like $2 or something.
this is a test, right?
sometimes I think Anthropologie sells shit like this just to see how many people are willing to spend $100-$200 on something grandma can make
trickery!
I bought this thinking it would be a “gourmet” version of those Lean Cuisine pizzas. It looks like it has potential:
But then I microwaved it and it looked like this:
The whole thing was just watery and bland, but somehow left an awful garlic taste in my mouth. I would actually recommend any of the Lean Cuisine pizzas over this mess.
don't buy this
I had this for lunch and it was not good. For one, it was twice the amount most Trader Joe’s frozen meals are ($5.50). The orzo/spinach/zucchini stuff was horribly mushy and bland. And the tomatoes were just sour and gross. And I couldn’t taste the mint or the yogurt in the supposed yogurt and mint sauce.
Its only redeeming qualities were the generous portion...

ugh
You guys, this is horribly embarrassing. Tech has a lot to be embarrassed about, but that video has GOT to take the cake.
This is worse than saying “I was at a Magnetic Fields concert” and getting “Oh, I’m in Physics, too!” as a response.

we'll call it 'research'
the following places are in easy walking distance of my new apartment:
Hop City
Octane Coffee
TINY Bistro
Urban Grind Coffee House
Caryn’s Cakes
5 Seasons
Swit Bakery (coming soon)
Maybe walking to and from these places will make a dent in the increased amount of calories I’ll inevitably be consuming.

I want to go to Boston, let’s go to Boston!
Let’s do it! I’m still eligible for AirtranU for a few more months.
And we can stay in a not-creepy hostel!
And spend all of our money on food!

boston baked beans
I have had the phrase “Boston baked beans” stuck in my head since Friday. Specifically, it’s been “Bostonbakedbeans“— said in a very quick whisper.
Bostonbakedbeans, Bostonbakedbeans, Bostonbakedbeans.
My former high school assistant band director is joking about performing a Lady Gaga song at a “sit-down” band competition, but we know there’s a small part of him that really wants to do it.
It’s like he’s the Johnny Wier of the band world!
Also, I would make room in my schedule to see that performance.

no. just no.
I don’t care if this is just a rehearsal bouquet. It’s an eyesore and a waste of perfectly usable gift-wrapping ribbons.

And why do Ron and Harry always look so stumpy? And why does Hermione look so adorable always?

I’m branching out and trying a new, more colorful scheme for my room in the fall and I want/need your thoughts and opinions on these potential bedroom options. The lamps and chair have already been purchased although the chair might not fit in the room (the lamps are staying).
Judge away! Any and all thoughts welcome.

Top 10 Myths about Introverts →
mariskahargitay:
Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people....

Bailey's Irish Cream Cake
Before I even post the recipe, let me just say that in the last hour that the cake has been iced, half of it has already disappeared. So that should be an indication of how delicious this is. In fact, if your birthday hasn’t already happened, be on the lookout. This cake is probably in your future.
The only adaptation I made was eliminating the chopped pecans (because I forgot to buy them)....

food, food, food
Today I made buffalo chicken calzones and homemade thin mints!
I know my calzone looks like a baseball glove, but it was delicious and super easy to make! I bought pizza dough from Trader Joe’s (it’s $1) and then followed the recipe exactly***. The only adjustment I’d make would be doubling or even tripling the amount of hot sauce; even for me it was not spicy enough (or maybe...

slut whore
Last year we got assigned a random roommate, Katie, who turned out to be the Worst Roommate Ever. Besides being obnoxiously loud, disgustingly messy, and homophobic, Katie was incapable of being without male attention.

adult drink blender
I recently got this blender and it is FREAKING AWESOME.
The settings aren’t 1-4; they’re smoothie, milkshake, and frozen drink
There is a spout attachment!
It was $18 (thanks, Wal-Mart)!
