This is going to be very hastily written as i have to run out the door to my job that may or may not exist next week if this shutdown business goes through.
Buuut, apparently:

“The only thing holding up an agreement is ideology,” he said.
Republicans are, among other things, pushing to strip all funding from Planned Parenthood as well as trying to prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions.
What the hell. This probably isn’t news to a lot of you, but WHATTTT??? I might not have a job because the Republicans don’t support safe sex?
