how to get work done: tornado edition
- open up the syllabus and look for guidelines on the deliverable
- open up a word doc and copy/paste the guidelines
- open up gmail in case your group member already did her part so you can mooch off of what she did
- open up twitter to see if there’s a tornado coming: yup, it’s coming
- check gmail again. no emails yet
- get distracted by videos of mile-wide tornadoes in another state
- check twitter to see if it’s time to shelter in place: nope, not yet
- check phone for GTENS alert messages: none
- look at the syllabus again to make sure the assignment really is as awful as it seems
- team member emails her part; she can’t write worth shit
- watch the new South Park
- birthday cake time!
- check twitter: no more tornadoes!
- watch The Daily Show/Colbert Report
- shit, it’s 1AM
- ask the internet to do your work for you
- make a pot of coffee
- write this list
- goddammit
